I must start this letter off by first saying that God is good. As I mentioned in the last letter I lost my job in the first part of October but God has been faithful to supply our every need just as His word says. I am so thankful that we serve a God who keeps His promises to His people.
On November 13th we celebrated Harmony's and Ian's birthdays. We decided to have a dual birthday party. We order a special cake for them and invited all their friends to the local bowling alley. Everyone had a great time and the kids got a lot of needed items.
One of the things we were a little worried about doing this year was going to Illinois for Thanksgiving. God provided the funds for us to be able to see my family for Thanksgiving. My grandparents and Aunts and Uncles got to meet my wife and kids for the first time. It had been almost 12 years since the last time I had seen anyone of them. I was so glad for the opportunity to see my grandparents. If you have noticed on our prayer request page my grandpa is in the first stages of alzheimers. I was glad to be able to see him while he still knew who I was.
December rolled around with a vengeance. We had many activities going on and planned. We had our annual Christmas store for the kids of the church. They spend about 4-5 weeks earning preacher bucks by coming to church, bringing their Bible, bringing their parents and grandparents, and visitors. The church members donated a lot of great toys and items to be sold in the store. Every child left that day with at least 2 presents and it was a great thing to see the smiles on their faces as they went out.
My wife has been working with the kids and teens on a Christmas Program for this year. This has not been done here in a while and we are excited about putting one on this year. This kids have been working hard at learning their lines and singing the songs. We will be putting pics up as soon as we get them.
This Christmas we are spending at home. On Christmas Eve a family from our church that we have become great friends with will be coming over for dinner and we are going to go caroling to some of the church members.
I pray you have a blessed and wonderful Christmas with your family. Please continue to pray with us about being able to begin our ministry this year. We are working towards getting materials together to start sending them to churches and Lord willing line up some meetings.
God bless you and your family,
Joel, Kim, Harmony, and Ian Veteto

Romans 8:28 states "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose." This verse is sometimes put to the test by God in our lives and it is up to us to decide if we are going to let him do a work. I say this because at the beginning of October I was laid off from my job with the Workforce Center. It is now time for me to trust that God will allow this verse to be true in our lives.
The day after I was laid off we went to Stillwater, OK for the annual Men's Advance put on by Bible Baptist Church. This was definitely a needed blessing during that point in my life. I had the opportunity of listening to Dr. Lou Baldwin for the very first time and it was such a blessing to my soul. We had 4 men from our church go this year and my brother, Josiah, joined me from Oklahoma City. God was really at work that weekend and I know I had my heart touched. I encourage any man out there to try to attend this advance it will help you out greatly to be a better father, dad, husband, and servant of the Lord.
On October the 16th we held our first Youth Rally in many years. We had been going to these youth rallies through out Arkansas and decided to host one. We had a great time of singing, games, Bible quizzes, and especially the preaching. Bro. Seth Buckner was our special speaker I am sure he was a blessing to all of the kids there. I want to say good job to our teens who studied hard and won the Bible quiz this month. We looked forward to going again next month.
We of course always have a lot going on at the church. This past Sunday Bro. Pearson a teacher at Heartland Baptist College was visiting with us and preached on Sunday morning. I had the opportunity of going to school with his kids at Windsor Hills Baptist Schools. After the service we spent time in fellowship around food of course. Before they left he handed me something and I simply put it in my pocket. Later I looked at it and found it was a $50 bill. The Lord always has a way of sending a blessing right when you need it.
Please be praying for our upcoming Missions Conference November 5th - 7th. Our theme is "Knocking holes in the darkness." Please pray that our church will be able to increase in our missions giving and send more missionaries around the world.
We would love to hear from anyone who may look at our website so please stop by our comments page or signature page and just let us know you stopped by.
In Christ,

All I can say is Praise the Lord! Alot has happened in the last few months. As I stated in the letter below I have now become the Youth Pastor here at Twin Cities Baptist Temple. It of course like anything has had its ups and downs.
This summer has been full of exciting activities. In June we took the teens and some juniors to Camp Hope in Jacksonville, AR. It was alot of fun and we heard some excellent preaching. I believe a few of the kids really got something from what they heard that week. I would like to take a moment to thank all of those who gave to help send our teens to camp this year.
In July our church held our annual Vacation Bible School. We did something a little different and put it on ourselves. This was something new for me planning, developing a schedule, and pulling off a VBS. I had alot of great help from the people of the church and it ended up being great week. On the last night all the kids attacked our bad guy which wasn't planned but was still fun all the same.
We have had the opportunity to turn the children's church over to a young couple in the church that have heart towards working with kids. We are working with them and teaching them how to work with kids. It is great to see the light click on and see people enjoying the blessing of serving the Lord.
At the beginning of August we had our Anniversary Revival. Bro. Rodeheaver an evangelist from New Boston, TX was the preacher that week. He sings old time songs, plays the piano, and preaches. It is always great having him at our church. There was a good crowd each night and the Lord really touched my heart about serving Him more.
Please pray for our family. We are praying hard about exactly what God wants us to do going forward. Some ideas have been given to us for different ministries so we are praying that the Lord shows us the right one for us.
God bless you.

First of all i would like to start out by apologizing for such a dely between letters. Of course alot has happened in the last 3 months. I started out the New Year by beginning to teach the Men's Sunday School Class. I only dealt mostly with kids ages 6-10 before so switching to teaching adult men was quite interesting for me. God bless though and we had a great time.
We have see many blessings in the church so far this year. Already we have seen 4 people come to know the Lord as their Savior. We have had many visitor that continue to come off and on pretty regularly. We have begun some discipleship course with a couple in the church helping them to grow as Christians. My wife and mine's friend from work has been coming to church as well. Please keep her and her fiance in prayer that we can encourage them to become faithful in church.
In February my brother-in-law and his family moved to Ohio to work with his dad in the church their. This left a gap in the teen department. God has blessed me and my wife with opportunity to become the Youth Pastor. Our first officialy week was February 28th. That exact next weekend we took nine teens to a Youth Conference at the Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville, AR. It was alot of fun and very nerve racking for me, but God blessed greatly. We saw most of the teens that went make decisions to give their lives to God. One in particular is a young man by the name of Titus. I truly believe that if he will let God rule his life that he can be a major influence to the many other teens. Please pray that he will be the leader that I know God wants him to be. We have also already seen one teenager trust the Lord as his personal Savior.
It is amazes me each and every day how God takes care of us when we are exactly where He wants us to be for that moment. I am reminded of the verse Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the called according to His purpose." God has everything planned out and worked out for us if we will just follow in His path.
We would love to hear from please drop us a line anytime.
Thank you,
Joel, Kim, Harmony, and Ian Veteto

November is a month of Thanksgiving and what we can be thankful for is the opportunity to serve a wonderful Lord and Savior. We can be thankful for the breath each and every day and for the salvation that God has given us. This month we finished our fall campaign. It was a great success. The bus routes had many new riders and the kids really got into the contest.
I had the opportunity at the beginning of the month to attend a Camp Meeting in Benton, AR at Victory Baptist Church. Bro. Graham allowed me to set up my display so that local pastors would have the opportunity to see our ministry. It was a great time at the meeting with lots of good preaching and of course good food.
On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I had the opportunity to help serve the Lord's Supper for the first time in my life. It was to me a special occasion. I feel the Lord's Supper is something that we as Christians should not take lightly and having the opportunity to serve was even more serious to me. This was one of the many first for me that I will always remember.
This month we celebrated 2 birthdays. First of all my sister-in-law Tiffany turned 17. We wanted to show our appreciation to her for watching our kids. Kim threw her a big sleepover birthday which she enjoyed. Our daughter Harmony also had a birthday. She turned 3 years old. We had a Princess party for her. She was so excited to see all of the princess stuff in the room. Her uncle Roby helped build a castle that we put in the room and one of kim's co-workers baked a princess cake. It was great to see the joy on her face.
The church is doing well. We have had a young couple visiting and are praying that they will join. We had another missionary family join our church this month and will be going out of the church. It is always a blessing to talk with them and have them around to get to pick his brain about deputation and things to do and not to do.
Just this last week the Lord blessed and we saw 2 young people get saved in Junior Church. Anytime I get discouraged or the devil is trying to attack I can remember that it is worth it all when we see someone ask Jesus to come into their hearts to be their Savior.
Please continue to pray for us as we work towards the deputation trail. If you have any questions about when we will be starting or would like for us to come to your church please contact me through our contact page.
God Bless you,
Joel, Kim, Harmony, and Ian Veteto

This month has been a very busy and exciting time for the Veteto family and Twin Cities Baptist Temple.
I started the month by attending a Men's Advance in Stillwater, Oklahoma. We had the opportunity to hear Dr. Sam Davison preach about Ahab and the men of the church there taught about Joseph. On our way home from the meeting our pastor began having a heart attack and we had to make a stop in Paris, TX. He had water on his heart and had to have open heart surgery the next week with 3 bypasses being done. He is now home and resting trying to regain his strength. In the meantime my Brother-in-law Roby and I have been working hard at filing in the gap while Bro. Trull has been out. It is definetly a side of the church i have never seen before.
On October 25th we had our Fall Festival it was such an awesome day. Roby and I put together 12 different booths for the kids to play and earn candy and prizes. One of the booths was a hand made slime machine which the kids loved! On this day we had a high on the buses of 74 kids! Praise the Lord for all the kids and adults that rode the buses! I had 65 kids in my 1st through 6th grade Junior Church that day. During the morning service Bro. Jason Watford from Bethel Baptist College preached "How the devil is a better christian than most christians." 3 young people and 1 adult walked the aisle and trusted the Lord as their personal Savior.
On November 1st we will be having "Thank a Soldier Sunday" in Junior Church. We have a young marine from Texarkana as our main guest and will be honoring him for his service in Iraq. All of the kids made thank you cards for him, we are giving him a certificate, and feeding him and his girlfriend a meal. Please be in prayer that alot of the local marines will come for this day. I plan on preaching "Two kinds of Soldiers" Lord willing I will be able to correlate being in the US Army to being in the Lord's Army and praying that these 2 will be saved.
Please continue to pray for our family as we work towards the goal of starting deputation. We have few financial obstacles right now and working very hard to get them out of our way so we can continue on with what the Lord has called us to do.
This next month is going to be just as busy with special activities at the church, birthday parties for my sister-in-law Tiffany, who watches the kids for us and harmony, Thanksgiving at the end of the month, and much much more in the middle. If you would like more information from us about bows or deputation please us the contact page to write us or leave a note on the blog page.
Sincerely,
Joel Veteto
